 Student-led Conference 

Next week I have My student-led conference on Monday we get to finish at the start of lunch which is 12.50 but some people stay until 3 Oclock and it is the same on Tuesday as well so we created a slide to show our parents or caregivers some of our work in each subject and we talk to them about it.

Sources: My teacher Miss Waho Gave me a blank slide and we got to decorate it and put all of our work on it to show our parents. 

reflection and next step: I think I am pretty proud of the work I have done but I think I could have done better and added more writing explaining more about what I like and don't like about the subject.

 Book Character Dress Up Day

Today we had Book character dress-up day at our school. There were a lot of cool book characters that I saw and liked it was so cool. We did a book character Parade so we could see everyone's book characters that they dressed up as. then there were some Gifts Prizes and certificates for kids who had the most creative and coolest book character dress-up thing it was so cool to see all of the teachers dressed up as well. I dressed up as harry potter from Hogwarts it was really really fun to dress up as our favourite book characters thanks for reading about our book character dress-up day.

This is what I have picked for my Smart Goals this year we have done a slide about them and we did a mid-year reflection about what we have done and we have written if we have or have not done it and if we have then we have written how we did but if we have not accomplished it then we have written what we think we could do to achieve it we have a reading, writing, Math, then other this is what have done.

 

reflection: This has helped me with my learning because I have enjoyed reading writing and math more than before because I have been wanting to do it every day so that I can achieve my goal.

Matariki Slide

 Matariki Learning.

In reading and writing this week we have been learning stuff about Matariki. I have used something called canva to make this it is a really cool DLO (digital learning object) to use. I think I have put some cool facts into my writing this week. I have learned a lot about Matariki this week by making this DLO find more out about Matariki in my DLO which is right down there.

What Was Tricky: I Think  It was tricky to find some information about Matariki because I would search something up and it would not come up with what I wanted to know.

What Was My Best: I think my best slide is number six about the story I think it was the easiest one to find information stuff about it.

What I Wonder: I wonder why they cool Matariki something different in other countries?
