Mariana Trench

hi bloggers For literacy we are learning about the Mariana Trench we had to make A  Information Report about the Mariana Trench then we had to get with A buddy and read it to them and then they tell  you what you have to fix it up hope you enjoy

Listen up people,   there is this thing called the Mariana Trench, it is this place at the bottom of the ocean. It is so deep that if you go down there I do not think you will come back, you might get eaten by Megalodon, who is he? read paragraph 1 to see who he is ...

Paragraph 1: Animals
There is a Ginormous Shark called  Megalodon, it is an enormous shark that lives in the Mariana Trench, he can kill people if you go down there. there is an octopus called a  dumbo octopus That looks like a squid and is Slimy. There is this Animal that is the  Shape of a Cucumber and it looks like a cucumber because it has no bones.

Paragraph 2: Black Smokers
There are these things called  Black Smokers that are at the bottom of the Mariana Trench That look like volcanos .black smoke comes out of them and it helps Fish’s stay warm this is because if you go down there it's really cold.  the Black Smokers help warm them up or they will get  Frozen.  That is what the black smokers Are for.

Paragraph 3: everything
At the bottom of the Mariana Trench, It has  So much pressure that you need to have no bones to get to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, that is how much pressure there is at the bottom.

Conclusion:
Listen up people, you have read my paragraphs about the Mariana trench and how deep it is and all that stuff so now I am going to tell you some stuff about the Mariana trench.  you need to have no bones to go down there that is how much pressure is down there. There is A thing called spider crabs that looks like A spider and A crab. hope you learned something.

  8. Kia Ora Olivia, Kirsty here! This is a great blog post. I like the part where you talked about animals. I really enjoy reading stories about animals. Maybe next time you could do one about a certain animal. Do you like writing? Was this copied and pasted from a google doc?

  10. Kia ora Olivia,
I like your writing because it has lots of information and it even has paragraphs. I thought the Megalodon was extinct because it didn't have enough food but that is an interesting fact that it lives in the Mariana Trench. The most interesting fact is that you need to have no bones to go down there because of the pressure! You could put capital letters after end of sentence punctuation next time.

  11. Kia Ora, Olivia!
I like your writing becasue of how much you got done and how it was sorted into paragraphs! I didn't know Black Smoker things were down there! Next time you could go over it and check for grammer and spelling mistakes? Because there were a few that I could see.

  12. Kia Ora Olivia H!
This is a great information report! Please make sure that before you post it, you proof read your post as some of it makes no sense and there are capital letters scattered all over the wrong places. But good job!

  14. Kia Ora Olivia H,
I really like how you put a lot of effort to your work and how you said "Listen up people!" Did you think about how much effort you put in because you did a great job and you should be really proud of yourself. Just remember to be more positive and just add more capital letters after the full stop.
Blog you later from Stephanie and Nalanee.

  15. Hey Olivia, great blog post! I loved learning about the Mariana Trench, did you not enjoy it? Why was that?
You have included some really interesting facts to teach others about this amazing place. You really captured my attention with your introduction, it made me want to keep reading and learning more! We spent a lot of time on that, so well done. Next time you could think about your conclusion, I know we rushed that part as a class so this will be something we will focus on with our next info report, can't wait to read yours! :)
